St. John Island Tour

Description

Overview
From St. Thomas- The participants on St. Thomas are transported in air-conditioned vans to Red Hook, then to St. John via a
chartered public ferry from the nearby Red Hook dock. The ferry ride is approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival in Cruz Bay guests will board open-air safari buses and take a two-hour tour of the island.  As the tour travels up Centerline Road, stops are made at several panoramic overviews followed by a visit to Annaberg Plantation, the ruins of a 1780-sugar mill. Additional time remains for continued beach enjoyment and shopping before returning to meet the ferry back to St. Thomas.

From St. John- Fabulous panoramas can be found on this tour as it departs from the hotel and goes up along Centerline Drive. Several stops are made along the way so driver guides can point out things of interest and give a bit of historical perspective. An incredible view of the entire chain of the British Virgin Islands can be seen at a stop made at Bordeaux Mountain.  A visit to Annaberg, the restored ruins of a 17th century sugar Plantation is made before circling to the northwest side of the island for photo stops and more incredible scenery.
